Profile

Compared to others, I am somewhat new to the Star Trek universe, but I've loved sci-fi for as long as I can remember. I'm passionate about stories, whether that's reading, writing, or listening to them. There's something so human about participating in or encountering someone's story, and I don't think that's restricted to the stories of people who've come before us, are with us now, or we are yet to meet. I honestly believe that stories that tell tales of fantastical places and imagined people are as important as those grounded in fact. Perhaps that is why I gravitate toward fiction and sci-fi. I believe they can tell us something about ourselves, our hopes and our dreams. They provide us with a way to say things that we have no other way of saying. They allow us to create and imagine - to experience a different way of being and reflect on our lives as they are. I think I've found a home within Star Trek (and Voyager especially) that allows me to do just that, and I want to invite you on the journey of exploring those stories with me.
